This project is the second of two baghouses that Staclean built for a components manufacturing plant in Georgia. Our team designed it with a dirty-air-plenum inlet because their manufacturing process involved extremely light dust that had the opportunity to drop out directly into the hopper section as it entered the baffled plenum at a low conveying velocity. The filtering path of the internal air-steam had virtually no upward velocity to avoid re-entrainment problems. We also built a spark arrester into the building ducting system.
