Details

This packaged concrete producer in Nebraska needed a baghouse to vent their fluid-bed dryer. It was crucial for the function of the dryer to maintain a constant slight negative pressure at its outlet across variable production situations. To accomplish this steady pull on the dryer, Staclean used our top-down hi-inlet design to bring the dirty air-stream into the baghouse. This design required a shorter ducting run for the dryer-to-baghouse connection and therefore less heat loss to help avoid internal temperature excursions and opportunities for condensation. By maintaining a constant pressure drop across the filter bags, we were able to simplify the operation of the dryer.
